ABOUT LAIKA PRESS

MISSION

Laika Press is a nonprofit community printmaking studio focused on teaching and increasing the accessibility of printmaking for students and artists of all ages, as well as fostering a more connected printmaking community in the Reno area. We offer the use of printmaking equipment, supplies, and instructional workshops, as well as hosting private events and engaging in community outreach to further our mission.

LOCATION

Laika Press is located at 136 Vesta Street in Reno, NV, next to The Holland Project. We share our building with KWNK 97.7 FM, Reno’s community radio station.

Aside from scheduled workshops, our space and equipment for screen printing, relief, intaglio, letterpress, and expanded printmaking techniques are available for use by appointment. To book an appointment, click here.

GET INVOLVED

Laika Press is not-for-profit and powered by volunteers, so we’re always looking for passionate community members to help out at events, workshops, and to keep the space in order. If you want to help us offer printmaking resources and education to the community, please send us a message so we can collaborate!
